Welcome to Talkeo ("we," "us," or "the Company"). Talkeo is an AI-powered language learning software platform available at talkeo.ai. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Talkeo. The Service is a subscription-based software application. All interactions within the platform are powered entirely by artificial intelligence. No human instructors or consultants are involved in delivering the Service.
Talkeo is an AI conversation platform that helps users practice and improve their language skills through real-time voice interactions. The Service uses speech recognition, natural language processing, and voice synthesis technologies to deliver a personalized experience. Key features include:
The Service is provided as software on an as-is basis. Language learning outcomes vary based on individual effort, consistency, and usage patterns. Talkeo does not guarantee specific learning results or proficiency levels.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at founders@talkeo.ai.
Talkeo offers the following subscription plans:
All paid plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis. Prices are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout based on your location. We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle after the notice period.
Payments are processed through our authorized third-party payment provider. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your selected payment method. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the issue is resolved. A grace period of up to 3 days may be provided for payment recovery.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing founders@talkeo.ai. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period, except as described in our Refund Policy.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your initial payment, you may request a full refund by contacting founders@talkeo.ai. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. This guarantee applies once per customer. For full details, see our Refund Policy.
Talkeo may offer a free demo or trial period allowing you to experience the Service before creating an account or subscribing. Demo sessions are limited in duration and may not include all features. Data from demo sessions is not retained unless you create an account. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue trial offerings at any time.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose. You may not:

The Service, including its software, AI models, voice technology, user interface, branding, and all associated content, is the exclusive property of Talkeo and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You retain ownership of any personal data you provide. By using the Service, you grant Talkeo a limited license to process your conversation data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
All responses, corrections, and feedback provided by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies. The Service is a software tool and should not be relied upon as the sole method of language instruction. Talkeo is not responsible for decisions or actions taken based on AI-generated content.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data, including voice and conversation data. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, third-party service disruptions, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Talkeo and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to Talkeo in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT AI RESPONSES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, OR THAT SPECIFIC LEARNING OUTCOMES WILL BE ACHIEVED.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Talkeo, its founders, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting founders@talkeo.ai. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data within 30 days of termination unless retention is required by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with any changes, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Paraguay, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Asunción, Paraguay. Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Talkeo regarding your use of the Service.
